We are a high volume neighborhood craft beer/cocktail bar seeking a hard working, reliable, enthusiastic & fun bartender with a warm and friendly disposition as well as a strong willingness to learn and memorize new specs, techniques and information. Must also possess the following attributes:
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work as part of a close knit team in a relatively small space
- Ability to not only bartend but also comfortable serving tables when required
- Open availability to work weekends as well as mid week and fine with opening and closing shifts
- Available for a minimum of 3/4 shifts
- Punctual and reliable
- Skilled at multi-tasking and anticipating needs. No "head down" bartending - must be able to make 5-7 drinks while chatting with patrons or taking the next order.
- Unpretentiousness and being humble is a big plus. We are not a good fit for Mixologist types or beer snobs. We like to make tasty drinks and pour good beer but we don't take it too seriously and the priority is having fun with customers.
1-2 years of high volume experience required but would be willing to train the right candidate if they are short on experience but loaded with an abundance of personality, work ethic and a willingness to learn a lot in a short period of time.
Health Department card is a big plus, if not the successful candidate will be required to get one asap.
