Hiring Experienced Line Cook

LINE COOK
Pay: $17/hr
Employment Type: Part Time (7AM-1PM)
Location: Midtown East
Required Experience: 2+ year
Preference given to those with brunch service experience
LINE COOK REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to take direction well from Chef
- Good attitude and a team player
- Responsible and punctual
- Food Service experience
- GOOD Knife skills
- Clean and organized
- Understanding of kitchen equipments
- Can stand for several hours a day
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
LINE COOK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares food in the kitchen
- Works one or more kitchen stations, including grill, broil, or fry
- Receives directions from Chef and Sous Chef
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, saute
- Handles, stores and rotates all products properly
- Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
- Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assists others in closing the kitchen.
