Looking for a well experienced Line Cook to maintain a well established upscale restaurant in Jamaica NY.
The day-to-day responsibilities of a line cook include:
Preparing food before meal service begins
Setting up and stocking kitchen stations
Cooking assigned foods during restaurant service, complying with senior chefs’ instructions and recommendations
Being familiar with cooking Jamaican/ American food
Plating cooked foods
Keeping food stations clean and organized
Complying with mandatory food safety standards and regulations
