Maru Coffee is a Los Angeles-based coffee shop and roastery with locations in Los Feliz, the Arts District, and a new espresso bar in Beverly Hills. Most recently, we opened our first location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Our name, Maru, comes from the Korean term San Ma Ru, meaning "mountaintop"a reference to the high altitudes where the finest coffee beans are grown.

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Barista at our Williamsburg location in Brooklyn, NY.
As a barista, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and serving espresso, matcha, and other beverages with precision and care
Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
Supporting food prep and daily operational tasks
Providing thoughtful, attentive, and genuine customer service
Operating coffee equipment and executing drinks to Maru standards
Creating a calm and welcoming environment for guests and coworkers alike
Qualifications
Strong barista skills and comfort with food prep
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A calm, professional, and team-oriented approach
Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced setting
Attention to detail and a genuine passion for coffee
Previous experience in a specialty coffee or café environment is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
