Located in Pelham, NY, The Pelican Room is a cocktail-focused restaurant offering globally inspired drinks and approachable, seasonal cuisine. We’re building a passionate team that values great service, attention to detail, and hospitality that feels genuine.
We’re currently hiring Barbacks to support our bartending team and help bring our cocktail program to life. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn and grow in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.
Who You Are:
You’re reliable, organized, and take pride in being a team player
You’re eager to learn about craft cocktails and bar operations
You enjoy working in a high-energy, collaborative environment
You’re focused on keeping things clean, stocked, and running smoothly
What You’ll Do:
Support bartenders by restocking spirits, mixers, and supplies
Prepare garnishes and assist with bar prep and breakdown
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
Buss bar and lounge areas, help run food/drinks as needed
Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness standards
Assist with inventory and receive deliveries when scheduled
What We’re Looking For:
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
No prior experience required, but hospitality or kitchen experience is a plus
