Kubeh, is a restaurant in the West Village, that's one of a kind in NYC, celebrating authentic dishes from Israel, Iraq, Syria and Kurdistan. Kubeh is on the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand List and has received wonderful praise by NY Magazine, Infatuation, NPR and much more. The highlight of the restaurant is Kubeh, a sort of Middle Eastern dumpling. Among other dishes, traditional Kubeh dishes to innovative variations will be served. Work closely with Executive Chef and Owner.
We are currently looking for experienced, strong, skilled, motivated, friendly, and organized individuals to join our team as AM & PM Line Cooks. Must have flexible schedule. Part-Time and Full-Time applicants should respond. Applicants must have at least 2 years experience in similar to fine dining establishments working on the line in salads and eggs.
Requirements include:
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Working efficiently, with a sense of urgency
Experience expediting
Fast knife skills
Positive attitudes are a must
Must have flexible schedule
Candidates should be able to stand for sustained periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Candidate must be a leader and must be responsible for all food leaving the kitchen on those shifts
Candidate must have Food Handlers License
