Server Position:
Restaurant Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. This role will play an integral part in ensuring our customers have exceptional dining experiences. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and ability to work well with bussers, cooks, and other staff. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our guests' needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.
The right person will be passionate about food and service and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as a Server in a bustling, fast-paced restaurant setting.
Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.
Responsibilities:
Prepare room for dining by setting napkins, service plates and utensils, and water cups on each of the tables including outside dining as applicable.
Protect establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
Provide a welcoming greeting and take food and drink orders from guests accurately and with a positive attitude and using our POS handheld system Toast.
Help guests select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions
Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen is running out of any items, etc.
Transmit orders to the bar and kitchen by recording guests' choices; identifying guests' special dietary needs and special requests through our POS system Toast.
Keep kitchen staff informed by noting the timing of meal progression
Serve orders by picking up and delivering guests' choices from the bar and kitchen if needed; deliver accompaniments and condiments from service stations.
Maintain table maintenance by performing steps of service and removing courses as completed, if needed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs
Following basic service steps and properly opening and pouring beer, wine, low alcoholic beverages at the tableside.
Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuing bills; accepting payment; informing bill and payment progress to the host team; returning change or credit card and signature slip to guests.
Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting guests to return.
Contribute to teamwork each shift by assisting other team members with delivering food, drinks, and/or desserts to guests that might not be in your assigned section.
Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by a supervisor or manager.
Fulfill both assigned and running side work throughout the shift.
Ability to handle money accurately and operate the TOAST POS system
Assist with special events as needed
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary
Other duties as assigned by ownership, management, or supervisors

Be able to stand for long periods of time
Knowledgeable of Toast POS software a plus
Physical Requirements:
Standing is required for the majority of the shift (90%)
Some light to medium lifting will be required throughout the shift, anywhere from 2-30lbs.

Bartender Position
Bartender’s have high energy, are professional, and project excellent communication skills to serve classic, specialty and exciting new cocktails and beverages to our customers. The bartender will greet guests, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. Bartender’s are also encouraged to upsell on food and drink items, create new recipes, utilize proper equipment behind the bar and ingredients while building cocktails, and handle basic cleaning and restocking duties.
To succeed as a bartender, you should have a neat appearance, an engaging, and friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.
Responsibilities:
Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
Informing customers about new beverages and specials as they are implemented each shift.
Building and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers whether at the bar or in the dining room, based on the flow of service, and tickets behind the bar.
Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
Observing the inventory of batched cocktails, garnishes, glassware, plats, and utensils, and alert Management about ordering supplies to ensure the bar and tables are well-stocked.
Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
Other duties as assigned by ownership, management, or supervisors.
