We are looking for a Full Time Dental Assistant to work with our Doctors during their procedures, and to help with the daily work flow in the office. The ideal candidate for this position would be someone with a General Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry or Prosthodontic background.
A warm and friendly personality is a must, as you will be directly interacting with new and existing patients. We are looking for a dental assistant who takes pride in the care they provide to patients, as well as being detail oriented and having strong customer service skills.
Located near Union Square in Manhattan's Gramercy neighborhood, our office provides high quality General Dentistry in addition to Elective Cosmetic Dentistry. This is a high end practice with a small, tight knit group of employees, in a fun and peaceful work environment.
Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
Proficient in taking digital x-rays
Knowledge of dental materials and dental set up is a must
Proficient at 4-handed dentistry
Able to take alginate impressions and pour models
Sterilization of instrumentsDental Assistant requirements
1+ years experience as a Dental Assistant
Completion of a Dental Assisting program is a plus
Exceptional customer service skills
Knowledge of Dentrix and Dexis
Able to multitask and take initiative
Be able to work independently but also be able to work as a team
