Position Title: Senior Litigation Paralegal
Job Description:
NYC based global law firm is looking to hire a senior litigation paralegal with 6+ years litigation management and trial experience. The firm emergently wants to hire a smart, hard-working candidate with a strong background supporting all aspects of litigation support. The ideal candidate will have global/national firm experience, be collaborative, personable and have strong skills. For the right person, this will be a great opportunity to work very closely with the attorneys and partners, get a ton of hands on experience and work on more substantive projects. Additionally, mentoring, training and overseeing the work of junior paras will also be a component of this role. The firm offers great benefits and the salary will be based on the candidates level of experience.
Job Duties:
case organization/management;
discovery (production of and review of doc productions (e-discovery platforms including: Relativity, Summation, Concordance, etc.); privilege logs, redactions, depo prep, depo digests, etc.);
pre-trial preparations;
trial preparation and active trial support;
post-trial support/clean-up;
electronically/manually filing pleadings;
cite-checking/BlueBooking;
assist with finalizing a variety of pleadings and the related exhibits, etc.
candidates must be open to overtime as needed
Education: 4 year degree BA and/or BS
Experience: 6+ years as a senior litigation paralegal preferably at an AmLaw 100 or 200 law firm working on high profile commercial litigation.
Compensation: $90K - $125K plus OT and bonus
