You love people and people love you. In fact, youre such a natural connector that you cant even go to the grocery store without making a friend. Building relationships are your superpower and you can find a media-worthy angle in every story. Thats why youre at the top of your PR game, but youre ready to pour your heart (and your talents) into something you truly believe in.
If thats you were describing, then youll fit right in! Were looking for a PR rockstar with 5-7 years of media relations experience, preferably in an agency, editorial, or production environment, to join our tribe of publicity pros.
As part of our team, youll leverage your stellar relationships with top producers, editors, and reporters to share our entrepreneur clients stories and get them the publicity they deserve. You will craft pitches on their behalf and help bring them face-to-face with the people who can help take their brand stratospheric!
As the Senior Publicist, youll report directly to the Vice President of Media, but youll work closely with the dynamic company founders, too. Like them, youll have a genuine love of personal growth, connection, and community. Youll get a real buzz from helping entrepreneurs to build their personal brands, and your legendary organization skills will make balancing multiple, diverse clients a breeze.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Driving media strategy for our full service and done-for-you client accounts.
-Creatively craft timely and topical pitches on behalf of each client.
-Leveraging your stellar media connections to proactively pitch stories and secure placements for clients.
-Including the secret code word rockstar in the subject line of your application.
-Sharing expertise on media relationship-building, broadcast media and book launches with our greater Unfair Advantage community through online workshops and at live events.
-Working directly with digital strategy team to amplify client visibility through all marketing channels.
-Facilitating 1:1 calls to outline next steps, assess progress, and maintain accountability.
LOCATION
This position is FULL TIME and can work remotely from home. While the company is based in New York, our clients live all around the U.S.
