Job Description:
Our client, a national advertising agency, is looking for an Assistant Media Planner or Media Planner to join their team full time!
This role is working with a national account alongside a number of senior-level staff, so there is excellent opportunity for mentorship and room for growth.
The Assistant Media Planner / Media Planner will be responsible for:
- Managing digital/social campaign launches (IO, creative trafficking, tagging) optimizing performance with media partners, providing recommendations and troubleshooting
- Assisting Supervisor with process of creating and implementing media plans across all media channels (TV, print, digital, paid social, OOH, radio, etc.)
- Managing all media plans, flowcharts and associated documents
- Reporting on insights internally and for clients
- Working cross functionally to ensure timely execution of all digital/ social campaigns
- Leading production and maintenance of all budget reports and internal and external status documents
- Working in Assistant Media Planner to monitor client billing/ vendor payment
- Researching new and current media partners, industry trends, media landscape, and present to team
- Nurturing strong, positive client relationships
The Assistant Media Planner / Media Planner will have the following qualifications:
- Internship or at least 6 months as and Assistant Media Planner, preferably in an agency setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of syndicated audience research, and on-line computer media systems/tools is a strong plus (Nielsen Media Impact, Nielsen Clear Decisions, Prisma Mediaocean, Adform, Google Analytics, Adwords, and partner dashboards)
- Great communication skills, willingness to lean in and learn
