The Brown Eyez Publishing Group subsidiary publishes three magazines in the areas of public health, arts and entertainment, finance and community empowerment. We are seeking talented Intern Photographers and Videographers to support editorial and digital content. Ideal candidates will have experience shooting high-resolution photos and/or film and possess knowledge of photo and film editing software. Interns will be assigned to shoot and cover social events, concerts, interviews, festivals, press conferences, and more.
Semester or year-long NON-PAID internship. Up to 5 semesters starting Spring 2020 ending Winter 2021
Job Functions:
Provide event coverage with still shots and video
Edit photos and video footage to create dynamic content for YouTube & social media channels
Assist in creating digital content for distribution on social media channels
Upload content to social media channels
Collaborate with creative teams to develop stories and content for a variety of editorial projects
Qualifications:
- Self Starter

- Attention to Detail
- Good Written, Oral, And Digital Communication Skills
- Remote Position, Must Have Access To Reliable High-Speed Internet and Appropriate Storage Space for Photo and Videos (approximately 50GB)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere & Photoshop) or other editing software
- Must be an organized, technical, and creative individual
Job Requirements:
Weekend and evening availability
Must be organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and tasks with deadlines and have good time-management skills
Knowledge of digital media including codecs, image types, resolutions, and frame rates
Commitment to the company’s culture and quality service standard
