The Greater New York Chamber of Commerce is looking for a part time marketing position. The idea is to grow into full time position. (Interests in promoting NY City, Business Development, Political and Public Affairs, Hospitality, MWBE Programs, Small Business Programs, Technology, Non Profit etc.)
The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and hardworking individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through phone conversations, emails, online and in person networking.
You will be contacting presidents of businesses for membership development, attending networking functions, business expos, international trade receptions etc. on behalf of the Greater New York Chamber.
Responsibilities
Must love the phone, you start out by making phone calls
Proactively identify new opportunities grow membership and database
Develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential prospects
Working with all social media platforms
Starting - $18.00 per hour plus incentives - average is $25 - $40 per hour.
