Growing Computer Training and Consulting Company looking for an energetic, committed and passionate self-starter to join our team as a Computer Instructor. Qualified candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 2013 and up. Teaching experience and Certification is a plus but we are willing to train and certify the right candidate.
This position will require you to train individuals to become certified in the Microsoft Office programs listed above as well as other programs as needed. You will be working with a variety of populations, Reentry, Domestic Violence, At Risk Youth as well as older individuals who may have challenges using the computer.
You will start as a contractor on an assignment working 12 hours per week with a salary of $25 to $30 per hour depending on your experience. You will also be required to contribute the appropriate number of weeks needed to complete training and certification before your first assignment. The length of training will depend on your teaching experience and certification status. You must own and be able to use a Windows based computer as some of your training will be done offsite as well as onsite. The actual assignment will begin at the end of March and will run for about 3 months and may result in an increase in hours as well as a permanent position within our company.
