Facilities/Office Assistant

A financial services firm located in Midtown Manhattan is seeking to hire a Temp-to-Perm Facilities/Office Assistant to help support the firm's Office Manager and broader team. The role will report to the Office Manager and will be full-time in nature with hours of 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday, with additional flexibility needed at times. This position is overtime eligible.ResponsibilitiesOpen and close the office each day; responsibilities include but are not limited to: preparing coffee for office daily and overseeing maintenance of coffee machines, emptying dishwashers, ensure office printers have paper and check shared spaces to ensure supplies are stockedOversee inventory of kitchen and office supplies and ensure all supplies are unpacked, organized, stored and presented in an organized and thoughtful manner; order supplies as necessaryCollaborate with the administrative team to ensure conference rooms are prepared for upcoming meetings and eventsWork with service vendors on a regular basis to maintain aspects of physical office spaceEnsure common areas, kitchens, and restrooms are clean and well-maintainedProvide administrative support to the members of the Operating Team including expense reportsAssist with special projects and other duties as assigned by Office Manager or other team membersQualifications: Team-focused attitude with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with othersCustomer service mentality with a 'no task too small' attitude.
