Front Desk Assistant Manager (Russian Speaking Preferred)

$15-25/Hour - Part-time Position (Depends on experience)

$32,000.00 - $38,000.00/Year - Full-time Position

POSITION IS USUALLY 20-25 HOURS PER WEEK AT FIRST, AND ONCE BENCHMARKS HAVE BEEN MET, A FULL-TIME SALARIED POSITION IS OFFERED.

Champions Sports Center is the fastest growing sports center and offering Karate, Dodgeball, Yoga and Tennis Programs for children and adults in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. We are family oriented with 90-95 % of the students being children ages 4 to 17 years old. The team member has a key role in increasing membership and retention by providing a strong first impression at the front desk and throughout the center.

Front Desk Assistant Manager (Russian Speaking Preferred)

- Know and understand Champions Sports Center`s philosophy and programs.

- Front Desk Operations (assisting students/parents, greeting members/new guests, taking phone calls, enrolling students in the programs, scheduling trial classes, etc.)

- Able to use our Database System

- Retain and increase student enrollment for all of our programs.

- Able to assist the Director of the Center (organizing award ceremonies, tournaments, field trips, seminars, movie nights and/or other activities being offered to the students).

- Be able to create the event/activity flyers, able to direct and assist the Director of the Center (for award ceremonies, creating programs, tournaments, field trips, seminars, movie nights or other activities).

- Oversee daily operations of the Center.

- Demonstrate excellent customer service when dealing with parents/students/newcomers.

- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of the Center.

- Provide timely feedback to the Director on all center`s issues.

- Balances all cash, check, credit card payments processed during the shift.

- Responds to all requests and follow through to assure satisfactory outcome.

- Complies with all staff policies in accordance with Champions Sports Center`s Amenity Management.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Proven management/leadership performance and achievement through experience in working with children and parents in (i.e. camps, after-school programs).

- Having experience in a field such as customer service, accounting, and/or having experience in management in the fields of fitness, sports, athletics, martial arts, education or related fields.

- Teachers are welcome.

- Strong ability to market and sell the programs at every opportunity.

- Strong leader and team builder, while setting the example for all other team members in hard work and providing outstanding customer service.

- Having superior communication skills (both verbal and written).

- Russian Speaking (Preferred).

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

- Well-organized with foresight and attention to details.

- Punctuality, honesty, and reliability is a MUST.

- Good computer skills. (Microsoft Word and Excel)

- Weekdays and Weekends Availability

- After School Hours (3:30-9:30 pm/some weekdays) and (11:00 am-9:00 PM Saturdays)

Physical Demands:

- Walk through the center.

- Climbing stairs (where applicable).

- Standing behind the front desk, and bending and lifting.

Required Education:

- A student in the college/Associate degree or higher (on management, business administration, physical education/fitness/sports management, education and/or related field).
