Petopia is a small pet supply store with 4 retail locations in Manhattan and currently looking for a friendly, dedicated individual. Applicants must have exceptional customer service skills, desire to learn about our products in order to assist customers, anticipate and follow up on problems, prioritize tasks. Must be able to meet the needs of our customers. The ideal person will be energetic and upbeat. Prior retail experience with knowledge of the pet industry is a plus.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Maintain a clean and organized environment
Possess an extensive knowledge of our products and services, as well as other resources for pet owners and the community
Provide courteous service to our customers
Answer phones and take phone orders in a pleasant manner
Accurately operate a standard POS SYSTEM
Store upkeep, and auditing merchandise as needed for inventory purposes
Must be able to work weekends.
