3 month contract to PERM FULL TIME

As a member of the Network Engineering Team you will utilize your extensive hands-on experience in designing and building resilient cutting-edge technology in Cloud-based network infrastructure and store networks, including SDWAN, ACI and Cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• You will design, engineer, deploy, document, implement, and manage the Cloud-based network, enterprise, production and client network infrastructure solutions based on specific project needs and global strategy.
• Leverage your prior experience with Azure to implement global connectivity solutions.
• Design and implement automated processes using Terraform for cloud network environments eliminating manual and repetitive tasks.
• Lead and guide other network engineers and operation support staff from various organizations and disciplines to determine the best comprehensive design, while supporting current and long-term needs of the infrastructure, business partners and related stakeholders.
• Produce professional diagrams and documentation for networks and operational standard methodologies, standards, policies and procedures, using Visio and other productivity toolset.
• Manage or assist in the resolution of complex technical problems, while providing appropriate communications to all involved business partners and related stakeholders.
• Perform research and development to ensure an innovative and consistent experience across the enterprise infrastructure.
• Conduct cost/benefit analysis and provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
• Evaluate and report on new networking technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
• Document new and existing Public Cloud service builds, processes and procedures.

Experience & Qualifications

• Consultative skills, including the ability to understand and assist in applying customer requirements, including drawing out unforeseen implications and making recommendations for design, the ability to define design reasoning, understanding potential impacts of design requirements
• 3+ years of proven work experience of Design, Deploy and manage enterprise class public cloud connectivity solutions leveraging Azure cloud network services
• Solid understanding of the Azure hub-and-spoke model
• Terraform Scripting knowledge within Azure and hand-on experience is a must
• Familiarity with Github and understanding of the GitOps model.
• 5+ years of Strong Enterprise networking with Routing/Switching configuration/diagnostic experience in Global Network infrastructure design delivery of WAN, LAN, and Firewall.
• Industry certification such as Azure Solutions Architect.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent fields in IT or equivalent experience
