Description
We are seeking a talented and professional full-time Software Developer in the New York, New York area. This position requires the chosen candidate to be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company. You'll need a growth mindset and the ability to work independently and with a team.
Major responsibilities
- Render clear and consistent notifications around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams
- Constantly carry out code-review and cooperate with other developers
- Cooperate with Scrum team to supply precise work estimates
- Solve and deliver production support
- We're looking for someone who can maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems
Requirements
What you bring to the table
• Shipped code for 5+ years
• Designed and built a POC or product/service from the ground up, or architected a
product/service in your current or previous roles
• Strong, demonstrable knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JS
• You've got an eye for the beautiful design our users expect
• Extensive experience with NodeJS and AWS, familiarity with NoSQL
• High standards for code quality, testing and performance
• Experience with agile development process and automated testing
• A passion for investigating stuff, reading and learning, and of course building great
products
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
