Our company was formed in 2002 as an IT consulting firm with the goal of delivering big IT strategies and tactics to small and mid-sized firms. Our core services include configuration, integration and support of servers, workstations, routers, switches, firewalls and mobile devices. We are currently seeking an individual for a Tier 1 / Tier 2 help desk position.
Responsibilities:
Prompt response to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically
Diagnose and resolve IT related hardware and software issues
Work independently within assigned priorities and project schedules
Be willing to work outside of the standard business hours as necessary
Monitor company provided mobile device for urgent issues
Clear, courteous and professional verbal and written skills
Ability to multi-task while prioritizing service tickets accordingly
Ability to efficiently troubleshoot and seek out resolution to software and hardware issues
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or similar degree
Experience supporting Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and MacOS
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite end-user support
Basic network connectivity troubleshooting skills
Basic spyware removal experience
Applying business/technical support concepts to analyze application problems and resolve technical issues
Experience with managing user accounts via Active Directory
Experience with multi-factor authentication and other cybersecurity tools
Experience with administration and support of Office 365
Familiarity with remote support software such as RDPWeb
Extra Consideration given to candidates with the following skills:
Experience with cloud hosted systems such as Azure and AWS
Experience with imaging software, such as WDS
Familiarity with installation and configuration of Windows Servers
Network infrastructure configuration: Routers, switches, and firewalls
Virtualization: VMWare ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V
Familiarity with Connectwise, Automate (Labtech), and Control (Screenconnect)
Previous experience working for a managed service provider (MSP)
