We provide a broad range of services including design rendering, technical build drawing, CNC routing, and professional installation/deinstallation of custom props and sets for events/popups, retail, film and TV. We are located in Maspeth, Queens with over 11,000 sq ft of shop space.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to read blueprints and utilize various measuring instruments. The CNC Machinist will play a critical role in producing high-quality components for our production processes.
Duties
Operate CNC to manufacture parts according to specifications.
Operate Laser Cutter for cutting acrylics and detailed parts.
Program CNC machines using Vcarve or Enroute.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy in production.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes and implement lean manufacturing principles.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Assist in assembly tasks as required, using hand tools and power tool techniques when necessary.
Skills
Proficient in CNC programming and operation of laser cutting machines.
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with CAD software for blueprint reading and design interpretation.
Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
