Looking for a talented and dedicated Web & Mobile UI/UX Designer who is interested in working with an early stage startup.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Design, UX, or relevant field
- 3+ years of experience in designing compelling websites, apps (iOS and Android), emails, logos - a prior position with an app or tech company is preferred
- Must have access to his/her own web design software
- Well-versed and up-to-date on branding fundamentals, design best practices, web standards, analytics, and technologies, and able to respond to user experience (UX) feedback
- Fluency in design tools (Sketch, Adobe CC (Photoshop and Illustrator), Sympli, InVision)
- Understanding of interaction design, and designing intuitive user interfaces
- An expert at taking complex problems and finding intuitive, elegant solutions
- Experience crafting wireframes, concepts and prototypes
- Ability to document your designs for communication and implementation purposes
- Knowledge and experience building UX & UI style and pattern guides
- Basic understanding of front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, React.js
- Experience in Github
- Experience in React Native & Redux
- Experience with popular social networks (particularly Instagram, Facebook, Twitter), social media content creation; photo/video editing is a plus
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English
Responsibilities:
- Developing a visual concept which aligns with project goals
- Prototyping, user testing, and design of mobile app and responsive website
- Deliver usable, technically feasible, great looking UI/UX designs
- Deliver designs, assets, and screens in a timely manner
- Build wireframes, storyboards and screen flows from verbal and written specifications
- Translate wireframes into well-thought-out interfaces, high fidelity mockups, and smooth and intuitive interactions
- Slicing designs for iOS & Android Developers
- Collect and analyze data to understand market trends, competitor activities and the behavior of a brand's target audiences
- Confidently articulate how a design solution answers user needs, business goals, technical constraints, and other project requirements
- Design visuals for various platforms including web, app, and social media
- Actively participate in brainstorming/concept development sessions, using your understanding of the user to inform design decisions
