Based in New York City, we are an emerging Drone Application company that specializes in creating hardware/software for UAV and Autonomous aerial vehicles. We serve a variety of clients in different industries and spaces and are currently looking to add a new Embedded Firmware Engineer to our ever-growing engineering team.
The Embedded Developer will manage several highly-complex projects in the field of autonomous drones.

Job Details
Responsibilities of the Embedded Systems Engineer:
Optimization of existing designs regarding size, consumption, efficiency, cost
Develop ARM based microprocessor software using real-time OS
Continually support and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) by deploying ISO9001 practices and guiding other employees to do so as well
Experience for the Senior Firmware Developer:
Experience with PCB design in Altium Designer (or similar) and designs applicable for high voltages, high currents and high-speed signals.
Experience with ARM based microprocessor programming in C/C language and using real time OS such as FreeRTOS.
Experience with designing electronics for mass production, preparing test bench and testing
Knowledge of hardware standards such as ingress protection and EM compatibility is an advantage
Experience with PCB component soldering is an advantage
Preferred Qualities:
Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program team sizes: including internal and external resources, and while holding team accountable for performance
Solidworks, Rapid manufacturing (3D printing, CNC, etc.), Machine shop/prototyping experience a plus
