Cybersecurity Control Analyst is a very important hire for our client as you will be driving controls which includes reaching out to control owners, document controls and test controls if they are testable. Basically validating that their processes are working. The role also has an awareness part to it where you be in charge of phishing simulations.
Not only is this a great opportunity to break into the world of financial trading, but you will be owning and driving security controls, so if you have a background in internal audit, security consulting, or security control testing, you won’t want to miss out on interviewing with my client.
Being familiar with control frameworks such as ISO, NIST, CIS, CSA etc is required and any knowledge of cloud controls would be very beneficial.
Personally, I see this position as someone who is 2-4 years into their security career with a passion for security controls, security awareness and driving forward security culture.
The role will be split between office (New York City) and working from home.
