Title: Project Coordinator

Location: Hybrid Onsite in Princeton, NJ, or NYC office - 1 or 2 days onsite in the office each week.

Type: Contract (6+ Months) - has a good chance for contract extension or conversion to full-time employment

Project Description:

Looking for a project coordinator to report to the Head of Portfolio management who is responsible for all the projects in MRSI.

Task Description:

- Ensure that projects are following the corporate SDLC (MR Essentials). Ensure that each project manager is creating the deliverables required by MR Essentials. This is a compliance role/function.

- Ensure that project managers and individual resources are accurately tracking their projects in Planview. Remind, train, and assist in the usage of the tool ensuring that the data being tracked is 100% complete and accurate

- Calculate quarterly accruals

- Assist with new employee onboarding/offboarding

- Participate in the preparation of senior management presentations on the status of the portfolio

Required working experience & education:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

- An Associate's degree

- Experience working in an IT function of a large corporation

- Experience in the insurance industry (preferably property and casualty)

- Required Skills and qualifications




Technical Must Have:

- Excel, Excel pivot tables, Power Point. SDLC deliverables, financial acumen




Technical Nice to Have

- Planview, Dev Ops, Power BI




Personal Must Have:

- Attention to detail, self-starter, collaborative

- The project coordinator will be the 3rd member of this team. (Two other project coordinators.) Self-starter, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are critical.
