W2 ONLY, NO C2C - SPONSORSHIP IS NOT AVAILABLE Location: New York City, NY - 10112 (Midtown) Type: 9 months contract on W2
Summary: Our client - A Global Media & Entertainment giant - is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large capital project building a new financial application. We have a very large project starting, essentially 2 big systems that we're trying to consolidate into one new and separate system. We have an application for program finance (when you require rights to movies titles, we pay licensing fees and then we expense them throughout the period of time). Our cable brands used another application called compass, module within compass. What used to be very siloed, now there's one Finance group managing all TV finance all together. This project is to take these two programs that exist, extract and build a new UI to support this program finance team in the future state.
