About the position:
Sr Java Developer w/ Python
100% REMOTE
06+ Months Contract

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications in AWS and Azure Cloud environments.
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, analysis and coding efforts.
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution.
• Day-day responsibilities include coding of business requirements into Cloud governance Controls.
• Should have ability to translate business requirements to actionable Cloud controls and implement through automation/coding.
• Work in a team environment, collaborate and work closely with peers.
• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
• Development experience in needed language or technology (e.g. JAVA , Python etc.). Must have.
• Strong knowledge of core AWS services- such as S3, EC2, CloudFormation, RDS
• Experience in Software Development preferably in Python/Java
• General understanding of AWS networking (VPC, NACLs, SGs, routing etc.)
• Fluency in aws cli usage and AWS SDKs for Python/Java.
• Python/Java knowledge sufficient to code for AWS SDKs.
