ShareFood Service SupervisorCooperstown Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is currently seeking a Food Service Supervisor for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Cooperstown, NY. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in healthcare food services, food preparation, and supervising a diverse workforce.DUTIES:
Plans, assigns & inspects the work of Food Service Staff
Schedules and assigns staff, prepares department payroll for data entry
Supervises the storage & care of food and supplies
Oversees the cleaning of the kitchen, storage, & dining areas, and equipment
Checks residents trays for accuracy with specified menu; assists with meal service at times
Coordinates and plans food preparation activities for special events
may be required to participate in large scale cooking from time to time
REQUIREMENTS:
Certification in healthcare cooking (ServSafe or Sodexo) is perferred
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to work as a team member
