Eastern Star Home is hiring HHA: Home Health Aides for Full Time, Part Time and Per Diem openings, including Day and Evening shifts! We are offering a sign on bonus of 750 for part -time and 1,500 for full-time.

As an HHA: Home Health Aide you will nurture and support residents by providing excellent quality of care in a safe environment.
Job Specifications: A detailed list will be provided at interview. General overview include tasks such as providing direction and assistance to the residents with grooming, dressing, bathing, toileting, eating and physical movement in accordance with individual service plan. Assistance with self-administration of medications. Accompanying resident to medical appointments when necessary. Assist residents with laundering their belongings, changes bed linens and tidies rooms as needed, requested or assigned. Flexibility in schedule is necessary as may float between facility programs as necessary.
Qualifications:
Completion of training approved by the Department of Health
A high school diploma or GED
Medication Assistance training is preferred
Ability to work with and understand the geriatric resident
Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with the staff and co-workers
Ability to meet and deal with various types of workers in multiple settings
Ability to work with individual residents or groups in special activity programs
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from residents, resident's families, regulatory agencies, and the public
Must be able to provide redirection for confused and distressed residents
Ability to collect data in relation to problems/concerns and communicate to supervisor
