The Position
The Forest Farmers is hiring for both part-time and full-time Productions Tech positions. These individuals will be responsible for producing and packaging syrups and maple cotton candy items that the company sells, as well as various other tasks at the direction of the NY Operations Manager. In order to be successful in this position, an individual must be hard working and work well with repetitive production tasks. Like all other team members, Production Techs are expected and required to adhere to all of the company’s food safety and quality standards and practices.
Responsibilities
Participate in producing and packaging various tree syrups with the company’s semi-automated bottling line
Produce and package maple cotton candy
Perform equipment setup and setup
Execute the company’s food safety and quality system
Clean production and storage areas
Ship online orders as required
Prepare shipments for wholesale customers
Qualifications
Excellent work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to get to and from work
Able to work professionally with others in a team environment
Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
Able to effectively execute repetitive tasks in production
