Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI) has an immediate opening for a Laboratory Technician to perform sample receipt and login, prepare and ship of sampling supplies, order and receive laboratory supplies, email reports and invoices, and related duties at our environmental microbiology laboratory in Williston, VT.
The successful candidate will be trained using Standard Operating Procedures to work independently and as part of the Laboratory Operations team in a fast-paced, professional laboratory environment. Computer proficiency required for login data entry, spreadsheet reports, etc. Attention to detail, efficient work rate and excellent communication skills are required. Previous lab experience and college degree preferred.
Knowledge - Laboratory experience preferred
Skills - Computer proficiency, experience with MS Office, spreadsheets and data entry
Mental - Organized, attentive to detail, efficient, strong work ethic, positive team member
Physical - Active position, requires lifting and unpacking coolers full of water samples, assembling and disassembling sampling units, shipping supplies to clients, etc., as well as data entry.
