Ed Garrow and Sons, Inc. is a well respected excavation company that has been in business for over 50 years. We perform all types of excavation, trenchless excavation, and site work for both residential and commercial projects. We install septic systems, water and sewer lines, drainage, excavate for house foundations, and driveways. We install lines under roads and railroad tracks using our Horizontal Directional Drilling and Pipe Ramming equipment.
ALL Applicants MUST POSSESS a valid drivers' license with safe driving record and a vehicle to travel to/from the work place and/or the projects. Must be reliable, honest and able to complete time slips and other paperwork. Have the ability and strength to climb in and out of excavations, equipment and/or vehicles frequently during workday. Walk, shovel, rake, stoop, squat, bend, and lift in excess of 50# frequently during the work day. Operators and Truck Drivers will be required to help with all aspects of the job including labor work as needed. Work an average of 40 - 50 hrs +- per week (M-F with some Sat.) depending on the work load and weather permitting.
Heavy Equipment Operators: Must be experienced operating Excavators, Backhoes, Loaders, Bull dozers. Must be able to maintain grade of excavation, read and understand plans and elevations - some labor work is required. Extra consideration will be given if the applicant has their CDL Class A or B license. An OSHA 10 will be required.
Experienced Trenchless Construction Operators: We perform Horizontal Directional Drilling and Pipe Ramming. We are looking for individuals who may be experienced in this field and/or be willing to travel out of the area for short periods of time.
