Our Canton, NY branch is currently looking for Personal Care Aides to work in Canton NY, Potsdam NY, Massena NY, Waddington NY, and other towns throughout St. Lawrence County. Not a certified PCA? No problem - we're now enrolling qualified applicants in our Free Personal Care Aide training class, details below!
Personal Care Aide (PCA) Training Class - FREE
Dates: Starting August 19th - remaining class dates to be determined (class dates are generally picked depending on attendee availability) - 7 day class (weekdays only, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm) attendance is required on all 7 days
Location: CareGivers Home Care, 19 Hodskin Street, Canton, NY 13617
Reliable transportation is required
Proof of immunizations required
Recent/current physical required
Minimum of 2 references required
Tuition for the class is free, you will not be paid for attending the class
If you successfully complete the course, you will be a New York state certified Personal Care Aide
Attendance on each day of the training class is required. Those who complete the class with a passing grade, meet all health requirements, and successfully complete the hiring process will receive an offer for employment. All attendees are expected to pay attention and participate during class, attendees that do not take the class seriously or are disruptive during class will be removed from the class.
