Description
Building small applications, using SQL, Python, Alteryx, PowerBI and other new age software platforms.
The candidate must be able to work independently , speaking directly with users to understand problem statement, propose solutions, perform analysis and write functional and technical specifications
Locating data sources and data elements required for business process automation
Preparing technical data mapping documents from source files/tables to target
Drafting test cases for unit testing as well as integration testing and UAT
Being accountable for successful system delivery, Interact efficiently with RTB Developers and/or CTB Developers globally in software/fix delivery
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE FOLLOW EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of relevant work experience in Finance IT projects
1+ years of prior experience with at least one of these 4 core skills SQL, Python, Alteryx, PowerBI
2+ years of experience writing BRDs, FSDs and technical specifications
Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation
Ability to interpret conversations with SME's and be in a position to ask questions about one's business process, that will allow him/her to map out current state and look for opportunities to automate, simplify (either through direct software tool usage or re-mapping of process).
Strong understanding of SDLC best practices; experience with Agile methodologies
