You will meet lots of dogs and puppies (and cats!) and their caring owners, work with a large and talented team of compassionate and warm pet care professionals, have the opportunity for professional development and training, and champion a local small business that is serving busy pet parents. You will work independently and frequently interact with our team and the pet parents we serve.
As the business operations manager, you will oversee business operations, including interviewing, hiring, and training new staff, managing our team, and meeting, onboarding, and retaining clients.

Primary Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Be the face of our organization to prospective clients and the community
Manage company scheduling and routing
Oversee and advance client experience program: customer service, onboarding, and retention
Perform new client meetings and close sales
Coordinate and improve new staff recruitment and onboarding
Facilitate new staff orientations
Train and lead staff, and manage staff performance
Document and update Standard Operating Procedures
Track, measure, and report on key objectives
Candidate must have smart phone (and ability to use our apps), driver's license, and have unrestricted access to a properly maintained and running vehicle.
$14-17+/hr, commensurate with experience
35-40 hrs/week, typically working Monday through Friday 8:30am-4 or 5:30pm. Schedule dependent on the right candidate. Please be flexible as the hours may vary from time to time as well as be required to work the occasional weekend or holiday. This position may be required to be available for occasional phone call on evening or weekend.
There will be 5 paid vacation and 5 paid sick days for use within one calendar year. Additional benefits may be negotiable for the right candidate: quarterly performance-based bonuses, health insurance contribution, homebuyer down-payment assistance, and/or student loan repayment bonuses.
