Construction Project Mgr / Owners Rep - 5-Story Commercial Build-Out Rochester, NY
Actively seeking a seasoned professional to oversee all operations of large commercial construction project. This person will report direct to the owner on a day-to-day basis. Minimum of 15 year experience in a large commercial building as a Project Manager / Owners Rep.
The primary role is to serve as the Owner's on-site representative and coordinate with the Architect, Engineer, and Contractors in all matters relating to the construction of the Project. Every opportunity to cultivate a "partnering" relationship between the Consultant and Contractor should be taken bearing in mind there is a common goal, the success of the Project.
Responsibilities Include:
ï§ Represent the Owner's best interest
ï§ Lead coordination efforts between all project participants
ï§ Lead scheduling activities
ï§ Maintain compliance and duration requirements
ï§ Serve as Owner's on-site representative
ï§ Observe materials, quality of work and Project progress
ï§ Monitor construction schedule
ï§ Interpretation of specifications, plans and all other related contract documents
ï§ Attend Project meetings
ï§ Maintain daily logs
ï§ Review and analyze Applications for Payment
ï§ Administer change order process, as required
ï§ Manage/Track maintenance of Project records
ï§ Facilitate and review value engineering alternates
ï§ Lead project closeout
ï§ All other activities related to commercial buildout.
