An element of leadership is necessary for effective guidance of others but not usually associated with the jobs of supervisory level.Environment Service Worker description: Performs housekeeping services in University buildings using a variety of commercial and light weight maintenance machines. Is normally exposed to refuse, dirt, dust, detergents, body wastes, and odors both indoors and outdoors. Is occasionally exposed to the possibility of contacts with infection and infectious diseases. Exposure to medical labs, animal labs, cadaver and autopsy areas. Position involves standing, walking, bending, and reaching continuously and handling heavy and medium weight material, equipment and supplies.RequirementsAbility to speak and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication.
