We are looking for an IT Manager with exceptional team building and technical skills to thrive as the Information Technology Group Leader. This IT Manager is responsible for enterprise IT services, network and server infrastructure, on-premises datacenter operations.
This position oversees projects requiring multi-disciplinary coordination and vendor collaboration. Management responsibilities include supervising frontline IT professionals and serving as a resource for staff including technical guidance. The IT group will have hands-on responsibilities in an area where they are recognized as an expert.

Network Infrastructure & Security
Servers and storage including on-premises Datacenter Operations
foster strong relationships with internal business units
implement solutions consistent with a strong security culture set forth
maintain up-to-date knowledge related to security threats, vulnerabilities and mitigations set forth to reduce the attack surface; circulate this knowledge through the appropriate units.
communicate threats and vulnerabilities that may impact and address them regularly with business units.
Qualifications of the IT Manager Job in Rochester, NY:
A Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer engineering, or related discipline OR equivalent work experience; a Master's degree is preferred
8+ years of IT-related experience with B.S, 10 years of IT-related experience with M.S, Or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience in IT-related discipline.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Working in an environment governed by NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171 and/or CMMC/CMMC 2.0 (strongly preferred)
Experience with Vulnerability Management tools (SIEM, Incident Response)
NIST Cybersecurity Framework
NIST 800 series
FISMA
FedRAMP
CISM, CITM, CGEIT, CISSP
