To effectively manage labor resources, materials and utilization of equipment to meet/exceed production goals and objectives. To maintain compliance to quality standards, GMP's, SOP's in a safe and compliant manner.Responsibilities

Provide consistent, ethical and responsible leadership across a 24x7 medical device manufacturing operation.

Responsible for staffing, training and employee relations of approximately 20-30 production employees to achieve production goals, which are aligned to the plant business targets: volume, yield, unit cost and safety.

Manage to resource skill requirements and resource allocations.

Serve as communications liaison between employees and management staff/support groups.

Coordinate team-building activities and integrate employee involvement into projects. Provide project, continuous improvement and leadership support for both technical and non-technical opportunities. P

Provide specifically designed work goals and project.

Monitor assigned work area to ensure compliance to all SOP and GMP requirements.

Utilize performance-tracking tools and facilitate actions required to meet performance requirements.

Modify existing procedures or systems to achieve business results.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree is preferred, relevant work experience considered.

A documented history of providing strong leadership to a group or team is required.

Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

At least 2 years of leadership experience is desired.

Manufacturing supervisory experience is desired.

Experience in FDA/ISO regulated (Medical Device) industry preferred.

A good understanding of basic business principles is required.

Experience leading people to achieve established goals is required.

Experience with constructive conflict resolution is required.

The ability to put aside your personal needs for the betterment of the team is highly desired and must be demonstrated.

Self direction and dedication are required.

Demonstrated problem solving skills are required. Understanding of general business functions, GMP’s and statistical process control are desired

Champions the administration, best practices, and implementation of the scheduling solutions internally to key stakeholder.
