Job Description
Landers Communities seeks a highly motivated and energetic person to fill the position of Apartment Maintenance Technician in Webster, NY. This is a full time position (40 hrs a week) with on-call rotation every 5 weeks for the properties. Competitive pay rate and benefits package. We are looking for a skilled, experienced and dedicated professional to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Working to maintain curb appeal, pleasant apartment homes, and a clean community
Apartment turnovers-painting, prepping, repairing, and cleaning units to be move-in ready.
Develop preventative maintenance programs for building systems.
General Maintenance repairs consisting of; minor electrical, plumbing, construction, painting, appliance repair & general maintenance repairs.
Grounds clean up, light landscaping
Salting and shoveling of walkways when necessary.
Job Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience.
Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
Resident focused; a self-starter and reliable team member
Carpentry, plumbing, and electrical knowledge
Strong organization and technical skills to service apartment units and property
Valid driver's license, tools, and own transportation required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 /hour
