ASSISTANT MARKETING COORDINATOR
Summary:
Will work closely with the Marketing Manager assisting with department responsibilities with a strong focus on outbound strategies, social media marketing, and eCommerce maintenance & development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Research, compile, and manage potential customers sorted by market vertical
Schedule and facilitate virtual meetings and presentations with potential customers, including follow-ups and monitoring feedback
Create and / or update slideshow & video presentation(s)
Collaborate with Marketing Manager in developing social media marketing strategies and campaigns
Continuous development and optimization of processes – participation in critical projects to enhance the company’s eCommerce portfolio and reach
Direct potential sales calls to the Sales Department as needed
Market research and ability to post & manage eCommerce platforms including, but not limited to; Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Volusion, and Shopify
Research of industry’s available federal and state level grants, incentive programs, & tax rebates
Perform all other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience Required:
High school/GED diploma, two-year degree in Marketing Communications or related field, or 2+ years related work experience desired
Vigorous research skills with ability to think critically
Strong prioritization and time management skills as well as a strong sense of commitment and accountability
Strong business acumen with robust presentation skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common industry and technical journals, financial reports, and product specifications
Ability to respond to common customer inquiries or complaints, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Working knowledge of the electric vehicle industry a plus
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Business 365 Suite products a must (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Social media platform savviness (FaceBook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
Strong computer and systems knowledge/skills
