Thatcher Company of New York - A well established and reputable chemical manufacturing, re-packaging and distribution company is seeking Plant Operators.
Days: Monday thru Friday
Shift: Will need flexibility to rotate between Day Shift (7AM to 3:30PM) and Swing (Afternoon) Shift (3PM - 11:30PM).
Wage: $15.00 - $20.00 hr. DOE
Benefits: Paid vacation, sick leave and paid holidays. Health and dental insurance available. Retirement plan is significant! 100% employer paid requiring no employee contribution. Equivalent of 25% of annual gross pay (annual contribution).

Learn the skills and knowledge needed to manufacture various types of chemicals and chemical blends. Operate pumps, valves, reactors in the manufacturing process. Calibrate loads, load trucks and prep loads for final QC checks. Complete all necessary paperwork.
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to read, write and understand English language
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment including full-face respirator when needed
