This position is for a Desktop Support Engineer and will involve, among other duties, software installs, hardware break/fix support, SW/HW trouble-shooting, PC deployments/imaging, and some basic Windows domain and Exchange administration. The position involves supporting our customers at their sites in the Rochester area.
While it is important to have strong technical skills, people skills and communication skills - both written and verbal are equally as important. The individual must be able to work without direction and needs to show a history of strong software and hardware skills. The successful applicant needs to be self-motivated, show initiative, and have the willingness to always 'get the job done' in a quick, friendly and professional manner.
Required Experience:
2+ years professional IT experience
Windows 10, 8 and 7 experience required
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and some knowledge of MSFT Server and Exchange
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be self-motivated to achieve quality work
Proven experience in the management of desktops and printers
