Summary:

We have an immediate need for a Community Solar Sales agents and team leaders to help educate residential consumers and build strong relationships within the cities where our community solar projects are located. This individual will help develop a sales force focused on selling subscriptions to our community solar farms directly to residential consumers across Maryland with rapid expansion opportunities to multiple states. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, self-motivated, goal-oriented and loves to excel in sales. Interest in solar energy or electricity savings programs is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities for sales agents:

The Community Solar Sales agents will be a part of team of outside sales reps involved in Door to Door (D2D) sales educating and signing up customers for our Community Solar Program. He or she is responsible for maintaining a 2 sales per day minimum quota. The Community Solar Sales agents also tasked with the daily production of and continual maintenance of all sales, maintain great quality, pipeline reports, forecasts and more. Daily morning and evening meetings in the field with the team are mandatory.

Responsibilities Team leaders: Team leaders will help recruit, train sales reps, motivates sales reps to achieve all sales related goals. Daily continued education training's on our Community Solar program and its benefits. Maintains complete and accurate reporting of all sales and sales related activities Interacts with management to maintain accurate policies and procedures related to the sales environment

Requirements:

MUST have experience in sales, preferred experience in the Energy or Solar Industry or B to B sales. You must have the ability to have a strong sales pitch, overcome objection and build relationships with customers. Must have reliable transportation or have access to metro stations. Proven ability to set and achieve quotas.
