Summary:
As the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Service Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all EVSE repairs, maintenance, and commissioning of customer owned equipment with a focus on timely completion. New product preparation, configuration and assembly support will periodically be required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor all pending maintenance and repairs and ensuring they are completed in a timely manner
Delegating and directing service tasks monitoring the progress of current projects, and managing service team members to ensure the team’s goals are met
Responsible for creating and maintaining processes that promote a successful program
Coordinate charging station diagnosis and repairs throughout the U.S. and Canada utilizing technology, partners, and other viable resources
Assist with the configuration and assembly of new EV products as needed
Act as backup to warehouse staff, facilities maintenance, customer service, and sales when needed
Perform on-site diagnosis and repairs (primarily local) of EV products when necessary, infrequent travel may be required
Maintain a strong working knowledge of EV industry regulations, restrictions, and laws to ensure the company’s adherence to these and remain current with industry standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and processes
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience Required:
High school/GED diploma, 2+ years’ experience in a customer service role a plus
Strong prioritization and time management skills
Strong business acumen with excellent leadership, communication, sales, and customer service skills
Ability to respond to common customer inquiries or complaints, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Working knowledge of the electric vehicle industry and electrical field a plus
Dynamic leader with a proven track record in customer service
Organized, efficient, and results-driven
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common electric vehicle industry and technical journals, financial reports, and product specifications
