The project Manager is the principal of the company professional representative of the project site. The overall entirety of the success and making decisions on behalf of the company and overall cost, schedule and safety culture. Working closely with the site superintendent and customers; you are the point of contact to the client and general public. Ability to mentor, motivate, direct and ensure the development of the project. Responsible for the comprehensive management of construction projects from start/bid day to final project closeout. Generally, this position involves oversight of multiple projects and includes scheduling, procurement, project communications and cost analysis. This job requires regular investigation for all overall project requirements. With available resources you are able to accomplish all the essential project functions with little or no supervision in a collaborative environment.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Plan, specs and contract comprehension. Coordination of all project activity per plans and contract documents. Change communication and understanding of impacts brought on by changes.
Understanding, and assessment of costs for impacts brought on by changes.
Clear presentation to clients or entitlements for changes. Analysis for any activity for cost vs. budget. Internal reporting accurately and regularly on the project's success.
Thorough knowledge of construction project management best practices, means, and methods. Aptitude to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while working under time constraints.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate may have these qualifications/Certifications and/or a combination of these items to qualify:
Relevant Civil Construction Project Management experience.
BA Civil Engineering and/or Construction Project Management
