A growing excavation company is seeking a construction superintendent to join our team. The superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily excavation activities for residential excavation projects for new homes, including scheduling and management of onsite personnel and jobsite management for the Rochester area.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of residential projects from planning to implementation
Allocate resources for assigned projects
Supervise onsite personnel
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials and clients
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Create estimates and present to clients
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
Strong leadership qualities
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail oriented
