We are actively looking for Delivery Drivers for our Batavia, NY location.
Positions Available: 4.
Reports to: Branch Manager.
JOB OVERVIEW:
Delivery Drivers will be responsible for operating a small company box truck or van to deliver and pickup parts efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and be a reliable team player.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
Pack and load products onto trucks according to companys specifications.
Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher.
Unload goods as per client specifications.
Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
2-3 years delivery experience preferred.
Experience driving a box truck is required.
Knowledge of auto parts industry is a plus.
Ability to pass a background check along with a physical and drug screening.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including; standing, walking, lifting, pushing, & pulling.
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
