Job Description and Responsibilities :
Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the daily management of the warehouse. This position is provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
Receives and verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
Assist in tracking and management of equipment
Ensure your location is in compliance with all safety (OSHA,) and injury reporting
Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
Detailed communication of materials with managers & crews
Ensure all equipment is kept in good, safe working conditions
Work with all supervisors to assure all policies and procedures are being followed
Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

3+ years shipping/receiving experience, including forklift operation
Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory position
Must be knowledgeable of Wireless Telecommunications equipment
Ability to work for long periods of time on your feet
Exposure to extreme heat and cold while loading and unloading trucks
Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
Ability to stoop, bend, push, pull, lift above head and climb as necessary
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to manage effectively time to meet targets and deadlines
Able to handle more than one responsibility at a time
Should have strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to pass a drug screen, MVR and background check
