CNY's premier construction company is looking to grow their team!
Weâre looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and highly organized Interior Designer/Decorator. In this role, you would be working directly with our Project Managers and the clients on design and execution of residential and commercial projects.
Skills needed and Responsibilities:
Knowledge of local vendors of finishes, casework, plumbing, and lighting, and ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with vendors.
Design knowledge of and experience with various finish types, including flooring, carpet, trim, and paint
Design knowledge of and experience with kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops, plumbing, and lighting fixtures
Research product resources
Read and interpret architectural plans
Produce schematic layouts and sketches
Consistent client contact to ensure design plans and expectations are being met
Coordinate procurement schedules for materials with construction schedules

Availability to on occasion work non-standard office hours to complete installations, meet deliveries etc.
